Hatch setup guide: countdown, sign-ups and launch

Hatch is a free one-page waitlist for a product that hasn't launched yet. Visitors leave their email and you collect every sign-up. This guide covers what to change after you remix it. Keep the live demo open in another tab to compare.
1. Hero and the countdown
- Change the product name, the launch label, the headline and the short pitch.
- The countdown is a small code component: select it and set your launch date in the right panel. If the date isn't fixed yet, delete it rather than show a date you'll miss.
- "2,400+ people already on the list" and the avatars are placeholders. Replace them with your real number once you have one worth showing, or delete the row.
2. Where the sign-ups go
- Both email forms (hero and closing section) use Framer's form submissions. Select each form and set where submissions go in the right panel.
- To build a real list you can email, send submissions to your newsletter tool through a webhook or integration, or replace the forms with your newsletter tool's embed.
- Sign up yourself from the published site to check it works end to end.
3. Product preview, features and FAQ
The product preview is built from regular layers: edit the text, or replace the group with a screenshot of your product. Rewrite the three feature cards and the FAQ answers, especially launch date and price.
4. Brand
Hatch has 8 colour styles: change them in the Assets panel and the whole page follows.
Publish and connect your domain
Click Publish to go live on a free framer.website address. To use your own domain, upgrade the project to a Framer site plan, open Site Settings, Domains, add the domain and copy the DNS records Framer shows into your domain registrar. It usually works within an hour.
Before you publish, open Site Settings, General and replace the title, description and social image with your own, so search results and link previews show your name and not the demo's.

- beehiiv to turn the waitlist into a newsletter: a free plan, a subscriber list you own, and a welcome email for every new sign-up. Embed its subscribe form in place of the Framer form.
- Fillout if you want to ask sign-ups a question or two (role, company size) to decide who gets in first.
