About Freelancer OS
Freelancer OS is a Notion template that runs the business side of freelance work: clients, projects, tasks, hours and invoices on one page, linked together so the numbers add up on their own.
What it does
- Clients with a stage (lead, proposal sent, active, past), next follow-up date, total billed and what is still outstanding.
- Projects on a board (Not started, In progress, Done). Each card shows the client, deadline and progress worked out from its tasks.
- Tasks with due dates and priority. Tick one and the project's progress moves.
- Time log with billable and non-billable hours that roll up into each project.
- Invoices that show the unpaid amount and how many days each one is overdue.
What you get
- A link that copies the template into your own Notion workspace in one click.
- Five linked databases with sample data (3 clients, 4 projects, 11 tasks, 7 time entries, 3 invoices) so you can see how it works before adding your own.
- A short "Start here" note at the top.
Good to know
- Works on the free Notion plan. You need a Notion account.
- Amounts are in US dollars; you can change the currency in any money column.
- It does not send invoices or emails. It tracks them.
- Want to try it first? Freelancer OS Lite (clients, projects and tasks) is free; use the Try the free Lite version button above.
