About Saltwater

Saltwater is a festival and event website template for Framer. The lineup lives in the CMS, and every artist page and the timetable are built from it. Visitors star the sets they want, see clashes, and add their plan to their calendar.

Good for

  • Music festivals, club weekends and open-air series
  • Conferences and meetups with several rooms or tracks
  • Theatre, film or food festivals with a programme across days

Pages

  • Home: poster hero, lineup grid, the timetable, three ticket tiers and practical info
  • Lineup: a typographic poster of every name plus all artist cards
  • Artist: photo, tier, genre, origin, set time box (day, stage, time), listen link, bio from the CMS and more artists (18 example artists)
  • Timetable: the full schedule on its own page
  • Info: key facts, FAQ and contact
  • 404

Working components

  • Timetable: days as tabs, stages as columns, time down the side. Sets after midnight stay on the right night. A now line and LIVE labels follow the venue's time, so they're right for visitors in any time zone. Visitors star sets to build "My schedule", which stays saved in their browser. Clashing picks are flagged, and "Add to calendar" downloads an .ics file of the starred sets. On phones it becomes a list.
  • Session: one set, bound to the CMS inside a collection list. It feeds the Timetable and shows nothing on the site itself, so you edit set times in one place.
  • Subscribe: news signup to Kit, Buttondown, Mailchimp, Substack or any webhook (Zapier, Make). beehiiv shows your beehiiv embed. Demo mode sends nothing.

Also

  • Desktop, tablet and phone layouts with a phone menu
  • Anton, Archivo and JetBrains Mono, with colours and text styles in one place
  • Scroll-in animations and hover states

Good to know

  • Ticket buttons link to your ticket shop (Eventbrite, Tito, Shopify or similar). The template doesn't sell tickets itself.
  • Saved stars stay in each visitor's browser; there are no accounts.
  • The demo uses a preview time (Friday 20:25) so you can see the now line and LIVE labels. Clear the Preview Time setting on a real site.
  • The festival, artists and numbers are made up; photos are from Unsplash.
  • You get a remix link to the full Framer project.
