About Shortlist
Shortlist is a job board template for Framer. Jobs live in the CMS, visitors filter them by search, category, workplace, job type and salary, and every job page tells Google it's a job posting so it can appear in Google's job search. Employers get a pricing page and a submission form.
Good for
- Niche job boards (design, remote, climate, a city, a community)
- Newsletters and communities that want to sell job posts
- Companies that need a careers page with filters
Pages
- Home: hero, live filters, the job list, why the board exists, job alerts signup and a call-out for employers
- Job: title, summary card, the full description (rich text from the CMS), company box, details, an apply button and more jobs (12 example jobs included)
- Post a job: reach numbers, two plans (Standard and Featured), a submission form and FAQ
- About and 404
Working components
- Job Filters: search, category chips built from your jobs, Workplace, Type and minimum salary, with a live count, Clear and an empty state. Filters are kept in the URL (for example ?cat=Design&where=Remote), so a filtered list can be shared or linked to.
- Job Card: one listing bound to the CMS. Shows a logo or coloured initials, a Featured badge, the salary range, tags and how long ago it was posted. It hides itself when it doesn't match the filters, and once it has been live longer than its Days Live.
- Job Posting (Google): invisible schema.org JobPosting data for each job page: title, full description, company, remote or on-site location, salary, job type and expiry date.
- Subscribe: the job alerts form. Sends to Kit, Buttondown, Mailchimp, Substack or any webhook (Zapier, Make). beehiiv shows your beehiiv embed. Demo mode sends nothing.
Also
- Desktop, tablet and phone layouts with a phone menu
- Bricolage Grotesque, Geist and Geist Mono, with colours and text styles in one place
- Scroll-in animations and hover states
Good to know
- Employers don't post jobs themselves and there's no payment built in. The form sends their job to you, and you add it to the CMS and send a payment link (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy or similar).
- Showing up in Google's job search is up to Google. The template gives every job page the data Google asks for, but it can't guarantee placement.
- The salary filter compares the numbers only, so keep one currency per board if you use it.
- The demo jobs are set to never expire. Set Days Live (for example 30) on real jobs to hide them automatically.
- Demo companies, jobs and numbers are made up; photos are from Unsplash.
- You get a remix link to the full Framer project.
